Private Immersion The depth of therapy +
the experience of a retreat

You've done so much inner work. Now it's time to do "The Thing."
Four days of deep, personalized support to turn years of self-discovery into a life that
actually reflects who you've become.

  • When 4 days · 2027
  • Where Chosen just for you
  • Who Just you (or two)

The space between…
Where who you've been
meets who you're becoming.

You've done the inner work. You've grown, gained awareness, and discovered so much about yourself.

And now, something is calling you forward.

  • Maybe there's a dream you've been putting off.
  • Something that's been on your vision board for years.
  • A decision you've been circling.
  • Or a version of your life you can feel is possible, but haven't quite stepped into.

You're standing at a threshold.
Between what has been and what could be.

A Private Immersion is a space to explore what's next, and begin trusting yourself enough to step toward it.

Sometimes, an hour isn't enough.

And a change of scenery isn't enough, either.

There's something powerful about stepping completely outside your everyday life.

Not just to get away. But to give yourself the time, space, and uninterrupted support to go somewhere deeper.

Four days where conversations don't end when the hour is up. Where insights have room to become experiences. Where we can follow what unfolds rather than squeeze the work into a schedule.

Because there's a difference between understanding yourself and experiencing what it feels like to trust yourself.

That's the power of a Private Immersion.

Sometimes luxury isn't about having more. It's about having less to hold.

In her words…

Magical, renewing, completely worth every penny, a magnificent gift.

I arrived fearful and exhausted. I left ready to answer the world that has been calling to me.

What you actually receive

Every detail, held for you.

I can't give everything away… part of the magic is in the surprises. But here's a peek at what you get when you say a full-body "YES!" to this.

  1. 01. Deep, personalized work

    Four days, entirely yours.

Somatic work, inner child and parts work, and The Self-Trust Model™. Guided by my 15+ years in this field, with the freedom to follow what unfolds rather than a predetermined agenda.

  2. 02. The physical container

    Luxury, immersed in nature.

Private ponds, saunas, salt rooms, stargazing domes, spa-like bathrooms, and breathtaking views. Every location is intentionally chosen with you and your threshold in mind. A space to finally exhale.

  3. 03. Nourishment

    Food that feels like care.

Thoughtfully prepared meals, often by a private chef, designed to nourish your body and delight your senses. Beautiful food, without having to plan, prepare, or clean up a thing.

A table set on a deck in the trees, with menus, candles, and pumpkins
  4. 04. Hand-picked care

    Your body deserves this, too.

Restorative bodywork, botanical facials, and other nurturing experiences with carefully selected practitioners. Not just pampering, but opportunities to slow down, receive, and reconnect with yourself.

  5. 05. Before & after

    More than four days.

Our work begins long before you arrive and continues after you return home. Hours of personal preparation and integration support help shape the experience around you and carry what unfolds into your everyday life.

  6. 06. Every little detail

For once, you don't have to think of everything.

I spend months thoughtfully preparing each Private Immersion. From the space to the experiences to the unexpected little gifts, there's probably not a detail I haven't considered.

So maybe, for once, you don't have to.

The real star of the show

Mother Nature, and the conditions for "Wow."

My son's first word was "Wow."

And somewhere between watching him stare up at the Redwoods on a recent trip and watching a grown woman experience her own moments of awe during her immersion, I realized how much of this work lives in that one word.

We spend as much time in nature as possible. Sometimes together, sometimes alone. It's often where the most unexpected "aha" moments happen.

The beautiful spaces, nourishing food, nurturing bodywork, and thoughtful details aren't just luxuries.

They're all part of creating the conditions for awe.

The work beneath the experience

Your inner compass, your way forward.

NRadical Honesty EKeep Promises SRegulation WKnow Yourself

Beneath the beautiful spaces, nourishing meals, and moments of awe is the heart of our work together: The Self-Trust Model™.

Developed through my years as a therapist, this framework helps you move beyond simply understanding yourself and into a deeper relationship with your own inner knowing.

The Self-Trust Compass gives us a way to explore what's happening within you, recognize the patterns and protective parts that may be keeping you stuck, and discover what you need to move forward.

It's not about finding the right answer or having me tell you what to do.

It's about strengthening your ability to hear yourself, trust yourself, and navigate whatever threshold comes next.

And while the Compass guides our work, your experience is never a prescribed program. We follow what unfolds, together.

Is it for you?

A Private Immersion is for
the woman who…

  • Has done the therapy, personal growth, and deep inner work… and is ready for something different.
  • Knows herself well, but still finds herself second-guessing decisions or circling familiar patterns.
  • Feels herself standing at a threshold, even if she can't quite name what's on the other side.
  • Has a dream, desire, or decision that's been quietly (or loudly!) calling for her attention.
  • Is ready to move beyond understanding herself and begin making choices that reflect who she's become.
  • Is accustomed to holding so much for others, and is ready to experience what it's like to be deeply supported.

An honest note

It's not the right fit if…

You prefer traditional office-based work, or the idea of spending significant time outdoors doesn't appeal to you.

Nature, movement, embodied experiences, and stepping outside familiar environments are intentional parts of this work.

Private Immersion for Two

Some thresholds are better shared.

You know that friend you've been saying you need to plan a trip with? Your work-wife turned favorite travel partner. The woman who's been alongside you through a dozen different versions of your life.

What if you finally made the trip happen… and neither of you had to plan a thing?

Four days of deeply personalized work, nourishing food, beautiful surroundings, and meaningful time together.

You'll each have your own bedroom, private bodywork sessions, solo time in nature, and individual time with me for somatic, parts, and Self-Trust work.

And then you'll come back together. Share a meal. Take a walk. Laugh until you cry. Finish the conversation you never seem to have enough time for.

Two women. Two individual journeys.
One extraordinary shared experience.

You don't need to be navigating the same threshold. This isn't couples therapy, group therapy, or relational work. You'll share a bathroom and portions of the experience, but the inner work remains your own.

And maybe months later, you'll call her and say, "Remember what we talked about that weekend? I finally did it."

And she'll know exactly what you mean.

Questions

Before you say yes.

How long is a Private Immersion?

Four days together, plus hours of personalized preparation beforehand and integration afterward. Our work begins long before you arrive and continues after you return home.

Where does it happen?

In a beautiful, nature-immersed location chosen specifically for you and your intention. Each experience is unique, and we'll discuss location and travel details during the planning process.

Spring 2027: locations are within 1 hour of Denver, CO; San Diego, CA; and Portland, OR.

Is this therapy?

No. While my approach is informed by more than 13 years as a therapist, a Private Immersion is an educational, coaching, and personal-development experience, not psychotherapy or medical care.

What if I don't know exactly what I want to work on?

That's okay! You don't need a perfectly articulated goal or a five-year plan. Sometimes you can feel that something is shifting long before you have the words for it.

We'll explore what's happening in your life during our preparation sessions and shape the experience around what emerges.

Will I have downtime, or are all four days scheduled?

Absolutely. Some of the most meaningful moments happen in the spaces between our work.

There will be time to rest, wander, journal, soak in nature, or simply be. The experience is intentionally spacious, not packed with back-to-back activities.

Can I bring someone with me?

Yes! A limited number of Private Immersions for Two are available in 2027.

You'll each have your own private sessions, bodywork, bedroom, and solo time, while sharing meals and portions of the experience.

You don't need to be working through the same things. You're each here for your own journey.

What's included in the investment?

Your luxury accommodations, thoughtfully prepared meals, personalized sessions with me, private bodywork and other curated experiences, plus preparation and integration support.

The experience is designed to be all-inclusive once you arrive. Travel to and from the location is separate.

How do I begin?

With a complimentary discovery call.

We'll talk about the threshold you're standing at, what you're hoping for, and whether a Private Immersion (solo or shared) feels like the right fit.

No pressure. Just a conversation about what's possible.

Your guide someone familiar with the terrain

Meet Emily.

Emily Romero is endlessly fascinated by what happens at the thresholds of a woman's life. The moments when who you've been no longer quite fits, but who you're becoming hasn't fully arrived.

After more than 13 years as a therapist, she stepped away from the traditional therapy room to create The Self-Trust Model™ and a different kind of transformational experience. One that blends inner parts work, nervous system healing, ritual, adventure, and deep connection.

Today, Emily guides women through the thresholds that change us. Through intimate immersions, she bridges the depth of therapy with the experience of a retreat. Creating space for women to slow down, listen inward, ritualize what's ending, and trust themselves into what comes next.

She is the creator of The Self-Trust Model™, host of The Self-Trust Podcast, and author of two books, including You Can Trust Yourself.

When she's not guiding women through life's biggest thresholds, you'll probably find her on a mountain trail with her son in tow, planning her next trip, or drinking tea while chasing an idea that feels just a little too big.
